TANNING TIPS

Prior to Treatment

To get the best from your tan exfoliate and moisturise your skin regularly prior to having the St.Tropez treatment. This will give a smoother surface for the therapist to apply the tan. A much better result will be achieved and the tan will last longer.

Always have a trial run 4-6 weeks before the any important occasion, in the rare case of allergies or unexpected results.

After Treatment

To maximize how long your tan will last gently exfoliate, using the St.Tropez Body Polisher every 2-3 days as the tan starts to fade and use the St.Tropez Body Moisturiser, as it will help to prolong the life of the tan.

A salon applied lotion tan will last 7-10 days on the skin. However, this does depend on the client’s skin type, home skin care routine and lifestyle.

What do you think of St.Tropez as a brand? - It has been around for a long time, it is a trust worthy brand but a cool brand too. It is a natural looking tan which is most importantly what people want they don’t want something orange and unnatural. It is so easy to apply yourself, I always used to think you needed to have a professional spray tan but you don’t have to anymore. St.Tropez has such a wardrobe of products, like skin polishers and tan optimisers that make it easy to apply yourself.

What is your history with St.Tropez? - I have used St.Tropez since it started. Around 15 years ago, the first time I went to Ibiza I didn’t want to be the only white person on the beach so I had a St.Tropez. St.Tropez do it so well that you do look natural, you don’t have that fear which I always did of going streaky and not being able to fix it – total nightmare. There is no reason to go around with that pasty pallor anymore, which is really exciting.

How do you feel when you are wearing a tan? - It makes me feel more confident, you just feel better when you look in the mirror and you look much healthier. Sometimes I think I feel terrible but I look great!

What do you love about summer? - I love everything about summer and can't wait for it to come. I love hanging out in my garden, not having to put layers and layers of clothes on and I love to swim in the sea.

Using St.Tropez on the shoot… - On the shoot today we have been using the St.Tropez Bronzing Mousse, it is so easy; you apply it with a mitt and it is streak free. There are two types St.Tropez Wash Off Mousse, it's commitment free if you wanted to apply some for a night out you could and then wash it off the next day. The St.Tropez Bronzing Mousse gives a more permanent colour, it's amazing.
